Be that as it may, Labramon understood what the human had shouted. Even if it was in a different human language. As for Hotaru, the man could've just as easily babbled in baby gibberish.

"Grr...! Hotaru! Get back!" It shouted, paying no attention to the fact that it hadn't even introduced itself to the female human. The digital creature placed itself in front of Hotaru while looking back to the human.

".... EH?"

The young teenager stared at the dog with wide light grey eyes. Had it just..?

Her mind completely spasmed and then died. The girl froze there, too in shock.

"Hurry!"

However, Hotaru didn't move. She just stared at the creature.

Sighing exasperatedly, Labramon turned its attention to Yasyamon. He knew the fellow digimon had no way of speaking, but that still didn't stop him from attacking.

"Move, human!" He butted Cody aside none too lightly, sticking to the Japanese language.

"RETRI BARK!!"

An intense set of sharp barks then came from the dog in the from of sound-waves. The pulses shattered nearby screens of the arcade machines as they aimed towards Yasyamon with the speed of sound.

Rei had barely managed to pick himself up before splinters lodged themselves within his upper arm. He growled, gritting his teeth. What had he done to drown himself in such a happening? This didn't make sense, it sure as hell didn't! He held his now-wounded arm, flinching as he used his cut-up palm to pull out the splinters. I hope you're enjoying this, Rei, he told himself, glancing at Kouki before pulling him behind one of the machines. Even though there were misunderstandings between them, he was still his classmate a few years back and somewhat of a friend. Getting Kouki hurt would only make things worse.

"Iie," he said quietly to Cody's yell, before he himself yelled out in pain. His nerves were sent into a frenzy by a sudden jerk from his cellphone, and as if that wasn't enough (or enjoyable enough), the Labramon added oil to fire. Howling and yelping as he tried to get away from the noise, he cowered behind a game machine, pushing his bloodstained hands into his ears to sieve out the sound. The pitch and frequency were disrupting his hearing; all this while, he had been relying on lip movement and his poor hearing to discern what others were saying. The Labramon did not help.

"AARRRGGHHHHHH!"

He was only an inch away from blood spurting out of his ears.

Hotaru was immediately snapped out of her brain spasm by the high-pitch frequency that seemed to batter her eardrums. The girl swiftly clamped her ears with her hands and groaned, squeezing her eyes shut at the hurt.

"STOP IT, STOP IT!!" She shrieked at the thing. Anything to get it to stop whatever the hell it was doing!

Labramon then ceased its brief attack, realizing then that humans were much more fragile than he had initially thought.

Argh, this was getting him nowhere! If he couldn't use his special attack to at least get Yasyamon to stop attacking, then what else could he do?

With a grumble, the usually calm Labramon was gonna have to do this old school.

And with that, he charged forward at the Yasyamon with something of a headbutt. This was going to be difficult. Yasyamon was already a level higher than him, not to mention that Labramon himself had nothing but his own body to rely on now.

Why couldn't they just talk this out peacefully?

"Argh..." With another groan, Hotaru let go of her ears, opening her eyes a bit to see what was going on. But the stampeding of what remained of the crowd got her nowhere. She was just as confused as when that thing with the swords first appeared.

The wooden sword clacked against the shaft of a metal rod--more than likely a pipe that had been discarded by the front desk. "All of you, get out of here!" Cody shouted, to panic-stricken to realize he had done so in plain english.

"And leave you to die, no can do compadre.", replied Zach in english as well, paying little attention to the rumbeling, and glowing of his phone.

Seconds later he was balsted by an earsplitting soundwave knocking him to the ground, as he looked around he saw it coming from what appeared to be a dyed dog. The sound ended as abruptly as it began. Zach got up a little shakily, and his ears were ringing but he was up never the less.

He steadied himself prepairing to continue his fight with the monster, and possibly this new one.

Wendy looked around as she covered her ears until the howling was over then looked back at her phone. It was still going off. She then looked at Labramon from where she sat. It didn't seem to be attacking anything but the the creature. Could it be that it was on their side?

Her eyes went back to her phone as she wondered the meaning of this. She remembered the last time it went off and looked around. She knew better than to charge into battle without a plan.

Cody's weapon went flying through the air, clattering to the ground, though no one could hear it--the ear-bursting sound did well to cover the clamor. Cody had succumbed to it as well, clamping his hands down over his ears--however... as he did, something strange began to happen--the phone in his pocket began to glow brilliantly, as a creature, somewhat familliar to him, began to appear between he and Yasyamon.

It came up to Cody's midsection, and was bright orange, in color--blue stripes covered it's body in places, and pearly white claws and teeth shone brightly in the dim lighting. It's tail flicked back and forth, as it eyes the samurai-digimon carefully. "A-Agumon...?" Cody murmured, as his partner shook his head.

"Agumon X." the creature said, as if reminding him. With that, the dinosaur bounded towards the samurai. Yasyamon attempted to attack, however, the dinosaur was far too quick, clutching his fist, and slamming it into the white mask that protected the samurai's face.

For the first time, Yasyamon tumbled to the ground, as Agumon X landed, taking an aggressive stance.

The headbutt hadn't really fazed Yasyamon much, but the unexpected punch from Agumon X had definitelytaken it down for the count. For now.

"Finally, an ally..!" There was a bit of relief in the Labramon's tone of voice as it looked over to yet another fellow digital creature. Though he had never really spoken to Agumon X in the digital world, he could immediately tell that Agumon X meant no harm to the humans of this world.

Besides, two rookies against one champion was better than one rookie all by itself and a couple of straggling humans.

Marina blinked as Cody's phone seemed to come to life. She looked at the new creature as she rubbed her bruised sides. She had landed wrong thanks to the bungled attempt at getting in. She looked at both creatures then she blinked as her phone began reacting again. She rubbed her head as her head pounded. Her phone also began to glow brilliantly and a figure came into her vision as it stood by her.

It was another puppy looking creature with tan fur and big eyes. Marina looked at the creature as it looked back at her with a smile. "Hi there." She said smiling. Marina smiled back. "Hi." Salamon looked at the other Digimon. "Sorry that I took so long." She said to Labramon and Agumon X as she walked over to them. "So what now?" She asked calmly as she looked at the out cold Digimon.

In the commotion of this new creature and not only the lack of his battle buddies but his recognition He was curious to say the least.

"Ok I'm way past freaking out but, I would like to know what's going on here!", exclaimed the college student with the second half of his sentence being noticeably louder than the first.

Though while this was going on his phone seemed to relax the glow had dimmed and it's vibrations subdued almost as if it knew what was going on.

"What are these things and where did they come from?", said Zach as he continued questioning Cody.

Cody shook his head--he wasn't so sure either... this creature looked like the Agumon he had met summers past, back in America... but was different somehow... there wasn't really any way for him to be sure. The Agumon X stood tall, as his partner did the same. "Save the questions until we get out of this mess." Cody said, sensing the urgency of the situation.

Agumon X smirked a toothy grin at his foe. Despite having spoken perfect english just seconds ago, his next words came as smooth, crisp Japanese. "What the hell are you doing here, anyways? Crawl back into the darkness you slithered out from!"

Yasyamon did not miss a beat, rising back up. It's words were japanese as well. "This darkness that surrounds us... is my home! It is you who should leave!" it snarled, raising it's weapons once more. With a heavy swing, it brought them down upon Agumon X, who did not even flinch, taking the brunt force of the unbroken sword.

Yasyamon stared at his opponent, eyes wide with fear. "What the hell are you?"

Agumon X said nothing--rather, he could say nothing, as flames rocketed out from his mouth, slamming into the towering beast's face, knocking him off balance once more.

Labramon sniffed slightly after Agumon had, no less, attempted to barbecue the Yasyamon. However, he did not understand exactly what the foe meant by the darkness. Why would it be his home?

"How uncouth of you," the dog-like digital creature muttered. Agumon X seemed to be the type to attack first and ask questions later. Labramon was more of a pacifist, and had only fought before when he had to. The urgency of the situation had called for it.

Since he could not lash out with his special attack in such a small space with the humans here, and attacking Yasyamon himself would only bring out the chance of him being grilled alongside the foe as well, the digimon quickly paddled over to Hotaru's side, a bit hesitantly. The young teen female had, out of shock, shakingly sat down behind one of the arcade machines close by. She looked extremely pale and just couldn't believe what was happening. Her school blazer ended up draped across her lap.

"Hotaru... Are you... Are you feeling all right? You don't look well..." Labramon inquired in perfect Japanese dialect, his tone taking on a tone of quiet but polite gentleness. "But I apologize for the sudden intrusion earlier, without even having introduced myself."

"U-Uh..." She gaped at the dog beside her once more, her mouth slightly hanging open.

This was totally a dream. That was it. She must've fallen asleep somehow at the mall...

Salamon watched as Agumon X took his attacks out on Yasyamon then looked back at Wendy who was now standing up, her eyes on the other Digimon. Salamon smiled glad to see she was calm and no signs of fainting were present.

"He had to do it, we don't have much choice here." She said to Labramon. She looked around as she waited for a sign that Wendy was okay. She looked a bit bruised up and she saw the window and sighed. ~That had to hurt.~ She thought.

She stayed there with Agumon X in case Yasyamon attacked again. They out numbered the larger Digimon but she still wouldn't back down. Nothing was for sure yet. She needed to make sure that the bigger Digimon wasn't going to attack again. She looked at Agumon X as she stood beside him now. "Wendy stay where you are, we might have to battle again." She said in perfect English to Wendy.

"I understand." Wendy said nodding her head. She stayed put and watched from where she was.

"Looks like my time is done here.", said Zach as he stepped back, allowing the digimon to take over.

"Not like I did much, to start with.", thought the college student.
