We all complain about the dubs and differences in subs. But what about a fan create series. According to copyright laws as long as it doesn't gain a profit and such it's legal.

With the exception of the fan-made Mega Man film in production, extremely few fan-made projects have any real quality to them. Finding high-quality artists would be downright impossible. Fan-made live-action stuff sucks 99% of the time.

Suddenly you're limited to fanfic level or possibly manga. I think manga might actually be doable if you could get a solid enough group together, but you're still looking at a pretty insurmountable task.

Yea... I mean... The Digiport tried to do that whole "Digimon Code" a while back, and it ended up stopping after one chapter--no one is willing to talk about whether or not they plan to continue it... T_T

As far as a manga series goes, I could possibly do Character designs.

...I was thinking of splicing together footage from X-Evolution together with live-action stuff to make it seem like it was an online RPG at one point, but... >.>

I have a friend who just loves to draw if I provide him with supplies and he's extremely good. But he has to have basic character designs first and a storybroad to draw. So if anyones willing to help we can have a manga SB style

I have a project going with my buddies where we're writing our own manga. In fact it doesn't take that many people to work it out. We have two - three writers and one artist. I would trade one of the writers for another artist I would.

This sounds fun, but if it goes to pass, how will everyone work together? I mean, it'd take awhile for everyone to agree on solid characters and not over-used or over-powerful Digimon.... I mean, c'mon, what if another fan boy wants Agumon?

I was kinda thinking about a chonical of story about Adventure 01. I mean in Adventure 02 they talk about other chosen kids. We could base stories on them... Any other suggestions?

Yea... the thing with that is that they brought that up for like a split second in the series--you could almost literally blink and miss it--and Gennai never went in depth regarding what happened with them--who they were and why they were brought to the digital world...

Anyways, like I was saying, I'm up for doing some character designs. Maybe even a few pitches for an overall story. All that RPing energy had been building up overtime, and needs another outlet besides Fan Fictions, anyways.

I dunno. We've thrown around ideas for a fan-manga. And possibly a fan-dub of a season or something.

I think that's all we're doing for right now--throwing around ideas.

EDIT: Why do you care? Aren't you too "mature" for Digimon? XP

It's not just humans... most of the threat will come from the Digimon, with the human/Digimon groups responding to them much like DATS did in Savers... though there are some key, unique differences.

I'll send you the files when I get them on this comp.

Hmm. Anything I can do to help? I don't have the time to donate to such things as story or anything because of TMC and Lost Worlds... but, I'd like to help in anyway I can.

I'll have to wait til I get to a computer before hand on sending out pm's but I can say that after first production which is hardest in my opinion the project should see a very long term goal. Also as which I have decided on 6 main characters 2 of each branch. And also which have one beginning baddie. But not a big beginning baddie.
